The track looks a lot bigger in reality Richard, I think next time without hitting the squats before 65 seconds is my goal. Yes Painstorm today or tomorrow, would be some good active rest!!

Its so different running on a track , not done that since I was at school , really happy to have found it as well, only 5 minutes away and I can use it almost any time!! Did I insinuate bad form for Mr Woods Christin, hes ROM was awful as hes hip crease did not come close to being below the patella haha I will always be a terrible loser Christin

You had another go at it then Kirez, I was going at the 20 a minute pace for only 4 minutes until I had to let it go. We will find out the new challenge today.

I bet you're glad you did all the shoulder work with the WOD today!

Luckily Nick I already decided to hit the 'PAINSTORM' wod today which also hits the shoulders very hard. Its on the main page affiliates under September 1. Push Jerk is also my least favourite movement so I will have to give them some time afterwards.

Re: A Bears Tale

I'm going to give the Storm a go today too. I'll just do the C&J at bodyweight.

Let's see who hits the most rounds :stir:

Re: A Bears Tale

I went straight to the handstand at the end and seriously, my shoulders were so full of blood I thought they were going to blow up ! 1.40 is LONG !

I'm glad we had a go at this Painstorm mate, lots of fun and pain

Re: A Bears Tale

3rd September 2008

Alas no back squats for me with injured lower back which has amazingly healed through the day and now hardly any pain. Did this instead:

50 Push Ups
1000m Row
30 Push Ups
1000m Row
20 Push Ups - 9.11.44
Found this one in 2004 archive and quickest time on comments was 9.21 so pleased with that.

21-15-9
KTE's
GHD's
Pole holding whole body raises - No time just slow strict reps.

Looked on an old thread and found Coach quoting that the best way to develop a Front Lever on rings is to hang dead straight upside down under rings and slowly lower legs through the negative (slow as possible). He prescribed to do this 15 times.

15 reps - managed to go slow until close to horizontal , then fell more like a wrecking ball, still managed it slower than last time so good.
