Jodi (F/33/119) Tried to warm up - wasn't gonna happen. Press 45x5 55x5 65x5 75x5 80x4 85x2 Power Clean 45x3 95x2 115x2 6 Rounds of: 8 Box Jumps, 20" 12 Kettlebell Swings, 1 pood Time: 5:28 I've been cold to the bone since 5am. I could not get warm. Wore a wool long sleeved shirt throughout the entire training session and started to feel like an almost normal body temperature by the end of it. I do not perform well when I'm cold. BUT, at least I moved... |

Pretty sure this is a PR for double, let alone two doubles. Great night! Friday, February 17, 2012 Anthony (M/33/168) Snatch 45x3x10 65x2 85x2 95x2 105x2 115x2 125x2 135x2 Clean 135x2 155x2 175x2 185x2 195x2 205x2 215x2 225x2 "Lynne" 5 rounds of: Max Rep Bench Press (170 pounds): 27-20-18-17-16 (98) Max Rep Chinups: 25-25-25-25-33 (133) Total Reps: 231 (PR from 2008!) Some light pull work to test the piriformis and everything went very well. Romaleos are extremely stable. Started Lynne without a plan, but extremely happy to get a PR. Four years!! |

Jodi (F/33/120). Oops - too many little treats this week. Gotta get on track to get ready for Nationals. Lots of warmup/mobility drills Squat test 45x3 95x3 135x2 155x1 175x1 Deadlifts 180x3 215x3 250x3 285x3 310x3 335x3 (PR for reps) "Lynne" 5 Rounds of: Max reps bench press (BW), 120 pounds 5-6-6-7-8 = 32 Max rep Chinups - 15-15-15-15-25 = 85 Total = 117 Totally underestimated myself on this. Should have squeeked out a few more bench presses and definitely should have maintained at least 20 Chinups per round. Oh well. I'll know better next time. |
