665xF (failed just above the knee)

665! Just above the knee ... and got stuck. I screwed up during my setup and I knew it right away. But it was too late, I had already committed! Oh well, it was a good run, and I knew it wouldn't be long before this happened. Just 99% sure I would have made the full lift had it not been for that crap setup! D'oh!

I'll do my 405 squat later on today - need some recovery!

Wasn't going to do a conditioning workout then decided to do todays last minute.

6 Rounds of:
200m Run
5 Suitcase Deadlifts, 95 pounds

Time: 9:11

Saw my time and thought WOW - I'm awesome today - all this pose running is really paying off!! Then Tony pipes up from the office "Did you use the sandbag?" ****!! It never even crossed my mind...guess I'm not so awesome afterall. LMAO!!!

I'm always baffled at how much your deadlifts outpace your squats, especially considering that you compete in gear. Same is true of Jodi, actually.

It's pretty common in the IPF to have bigger deadlifts than squats. Our's might be a bit extreme, but it's because neither of us get much out of the equipment. It's fairly loose by competition standards and we don't use it often enough to master it.

Squat felt great! Workout was soooooooooooooooo much fun - well, mostly. It was awesome training with the group the morning and I may try to do it more often. Jane and Gil kept me moving - I had to keep up to them - even though we all scaled back to let Chad beat us...it is birthday afterall.

Wasn't feeling great for the first 10-15 minutes of yoga. I haven't trained in the morning in a long time so my belly was a bit upset from the giant breakfast and guzzling down my coffee before the workout started.

Near misses when you know you could do something slightly different to make the lift feel the worst. You clearly have 665 in you.

Jodi, you might be the only person here doing Shrugs, but that's pretty good weight!
