In addition to what Petr and Lisa said,
I would recommend getting an Abmat. I was at the last CrossFit certification seminar and Coach presented both the GHD and abmat for developing strength and power throughout the mid section. It was a great presentation and improved my understanding of the function and effective development of a rock solid mid section. I won't attempt to recreate Coach's presentation here, but CF journal #9 (May 2003) covers most of what Coach presented at the seminar. Good luck! |

If I were you i would find a physiotherapist who loves sports (most of them do) and work with him/her to strengthen your core. The people here have a lot of great advice but a fews sessions with a professional will well worth it. Good luck |
