Thanks everyone for the input. I guess Im going to the lumber yard for some wood. Ahmik, good suggestion. I will definitely see if a lumber yard around here can cut the pieces for me which will make it much easier.

Jay,

If you live anywhere near Long Beach, Bahr Lumber on Anaheim can make the cuts for you. I can't remember the guys name that runs the mill but he made the angled cuts for me and everything worked out well. If not, just look for the smaller lumber yards as you will generally get more service than the Home Depots and Lowes that will only make straight cuts.

One more idea, I have a storage box called a Contico Pro Tuff Bin that sells for $50 at Lowes. Its 20 inches tall, works for box jumps, and its good to store odds and ends.
