Re: Muscle Ups

Congrats!

It's a great feeling to get on top of those rings by yourself for the first time!

Re: Muscle Ups

Awesome work! The muscle up seems to be one of those pivotal moments in one's CF journey.

Re: Muscle Ups

Great work! It is one of those things where once you 'get it'... your body knows what to do. Just keep doing them a few times a week so you can master the movement and then focus more energy on other skills. But remember to do them once in a while I remember someone who learned how to do them, then didn't do them for a few weeks, and she forgot how... it was funny for everyone except her

Re: Muscle Ups

Congrats on the first!

I started CF about two weeks ago and I haven't attempted a muscle up yet; primarily, it's b/c I go to a globo-gym that doesn't have rings, but it's also b/c I am slightly intimidated by them...

Is there a way to do muscle ups without the rings, i.e just on a standard pullup bar?

Re: Muscle Ups

Very nice!!! I got my first one last June but then laid off them for a long time due to on-going shoulder soreness. Got back into them leading up to the open. Going much better this time around!

Again, congrats!!
