Re: First step to regaining my life

Hey Paul,

Just life yourself I also started a blog to keep track of my WOD's and it also helps me document my progress.

I started on Dec 4th (my b-day) and have been going hard at it ever since. My experience is different from yours as I have never been in shape and I am a member in a box near my house. However, as everyone said keep going at it, set some micro and macro goals and you will see the difference as time goes by!

Good Luck and

Re: First step to regaining my life

Hey Paul! It was great to see your thread. I'm 43 and started (again) just a couple weeks ago. I've done CrossFit before but it has been several years. I haven't seen many others over 40 so I will be very interested to follow you. It is very hard to compare to others when they are mostly half your age. lol Good luck and good health ahead.

Re: First step to regaining my life

Thanks Brian - any positive reinforcement is like gold - Thanks!

I think at our age we need to listen to our bodies, maybe not go as hard early give ourselves time to recover but we are also capable of so much more than we think - pushing through some of those niggles and aches and pains can be so rewarding.

Stay in touch.

Paul

Re: First step to regaining my life

Welcome! You won't be disappointed with your results if you put forth hard effort on your workouts, nutrition and rest. Paleo sucks at first, but your body will get used to it.

See you around.
