This is the post I've been waiting to make; my 2 month anniversary. I lurked on this site for a good 2 weeks before I started doing the WOD, and another 2 weeks before I ever posted on the board, but 2 months ago I started posting my WOD's for my own good. I'm not sure how much I've gained in lbm, or any of 1 rep max's, but I do know what I've gained in confidence and overall fitness. The real benchmarks were last week's Angie and yesterday's 10K. Both were absolutely out of the questions as of June 3, 2004. As of August 4, 2004, I can honestly say I fear no WOD. It took forever to complete Angie, but I did it, with little assistance. As for the 10K, I rowed it; in good time! I surprised myself as I haven't attempted this distance in about 18 years!!! Rowing was hard, but worth it.
The sense of accomplishment is probably better than the physical benefits redeemed through the row. I don't want to ramble (too late), but just wanted to thank Coach and all who devote long hours and countless brain cells to all of the information posted on this site. I have told friends this site has made a difference in my life and it shows! Here's to many more months of WOD's, o-lifts, rowing, Zoning(?), and maybe even puking!!
Thanks again Crossfit (maybe it's time to subscribe to the journal!)

Buy Crossfit stuff. It supports all of the free life changing information. Not only do you show finantial support, but the information provided in the CFJ is top notch. I check my e-mail 10 times on the 1st of each month waiting for the journal. Great job Ron! You'll be amazed at how well your doing in 1 year! Keep up the good work.

I set up my computer to play the following quote, at the computer's loudest setting when I get an e-mail from Crossfit... "It's like a finger pointing the moon... don't pay attention to the finger, or you'll miss all the heavenly glory!"

Looks like the Journal will be subscribed to in time for the Sept issue. Probably will get the may '04 issue as well for the dietary info. Thanks for the suggestions again, Larry!
Going on vacation as of Sunday. Be back the Sunday after that, then I'll start buying! (depends on how much I win/lose at the casinos of Laughlin!)

Just an update to my original post. Now been 3 mos. but August was a heavy vacation month. My proudest achievement would be the unbroken kettlebell swing sets. 21 straight through (in the Diane? WOD. Got a little dizzy, but stayed strong. I swear I'm sending the check this week for the CFJ. Hopefully I can get the Sept. issue as my first as I hear there's info on swings and other exercises I like.
Coach, the check is in the mail (really, I wouldn't lie, I'm a lawyer!)
