Abmat is an overpriced piece of foam. $30 is ridiculous. Other companies should be able to modify the design and sell it for less.

They are actually very different. We have both rogues and get rx'd. I like rogues better. The get rx'd is much thicker, also the shape isn't the same. I betting just enough to get around the patent.

I suppose getRX and Rogue and Again Faster, etc should all also be ashamed for producing their own quality barbells and selling them for discounted prices?

Maybe they shouldnt have the name be so close, but other than that...welcome to market competition.

Considering picking up the womens bar from get rx'd mostly due to price, any of the older posters (or quiet lurkers) want to add additional reviews to put my mind at ease? I REALLY wish I was local and could just pick it up, 60% of the cost in shipping makes me sad.

We currently have 3 of the women's bars and they are excellent! The spin and knurling are top notch, and women fight over them for cleans and snatches. They have held up fine when loaded up to 175 pounds, but I would not use them for heavy deadlifts or squats.

Our gym got 2 of these, nice, grippy knurling, however we weighed them and they are both around 31 lbs. rather than the 33 lbs. that 15kg bars should weigh.
