Starting strength starting questions
I noticed SS doesnt use dumbbells. Why is this?
Also, why doesn't SS use incline or decilne bench press? Has anyone combined any Crossfit WODs with SS? Is that helpful or damaging? |

Have you read the SS book? Are you familiar with why the program is based around workout A and workout B and nothing else?

The program from what I know of it focuses on moving > amout of weight possible and increasing quickly to capitalize on novice gains. Dumbells don't do that. If you have lifted and done compounds for sometime, SS is probably not going to be your magic pill. Sounds to me like you didn't read the book.
