New Balance 110

Just giving my two cents on the newly released NB 110 Minimal trail shoe.
I picked this shoe up at Dillards of all places, and the price was 85$
Let me just start off by saying this shoe rocks. In my opinion it takes the best of the MT 101, and combines it with the best of the minimus trail.
The upper is synthetic, and has a really cool look to it. The shoe is meant to be warn without socks. I usually wear a size 8, but I got an 8 1/2 because i will be wearing them with socks.
I wore them today for a cardio workout that had a lot of lateral movement. The shoe fits very snug, and felt very close to the ground.
If you're looking for a zero drop, this isn't your shoe. However, if you're looking for a good transitional shoe, this is an awesome product.
In sum, this shoe has the look of a minimus, but with the cushioning and rock protection of the mt100/mt101.
And at 85$ it comes in less expensive than the minimus or any of the shoes in the in0v-8 line up (read my review of the inov-8 xf 210 in the equipment thread)
Cheers!

Re: New Balance 110

Just a follow up on my review. Did a 8 round tabata wod with air squats and sit ups, followed by a timed 1 mile run. Let me just tell you, these shoes felt awesome. Not too much cushion, and I felt really close to the ground.
I'm really liking these shoes (even more than my minimus trail)

Just wondering, for anyone who reads these threads. Are these reviews appreciated. Do they offer any useful info, or help you decide if you will go with the the shoes I review. I've noticed a few people look, but don't leave any questions or comments? Am I wasting my time, or providing useful insight. I know I've spent numerous hours researching shoes for crossfit, Inov-8 and others. I find it very hard to find a crossfitters POV. If you find these helpful let me know. I'd feel like I'm doing something helpful for my fellow crossfitters. Cheers.

I find the reviews very helpful. Keep em coming! I wear the NB MX20 and they are by far the best shoe I have ever worn. Have you tried them, if so, how do they compare to the 110?

I've tried a couple of different NB models and the MT20 is my favorite

YES. By far the best fitting shoe for me. Nice wide toe box, slim fit with no extra material.

Anyone read about these NB Minimus Zero yet? (WFS).
