Re: how many of you floss your teeth

Yup, every day. Started a few years ago. There are more and more studies showing that inflammation anywhere in your body (like your gums) can potentially cause some major problems. I didn't really notice much difference when it comes to dental cleanings, but, interestingly, I have noticed a HUGE difference since starting a more Paleo diet about a year ago. Dental cleanings are a breeze now! Up until that point they got slightly worse every year, no matter how much I brushed and flossed.

Re: how many of you floss your teeth

I actually do not floss at all myself. I did it a couple times when I was younger, and maybe a little bit in school because my roommate had it. Besides that, I tend to not floss at all. Toothbrush, toothpaste, and a good mouthwash is good enough for me.

I was like "ewww I've been leaving this stuff in here all the time?" so I just floss daily now, takes like 30 seconds anyways.
Same here!

Re: how many of you floss your teeth

I floss now, once a day! I was too lazy before and then my dentist told me that was really bad, so I made it my New Year's resolution and now floss up a storm. Plus my gums are happier for it (don't bleed, yuck). p.s. I don't use the little sticks, less waste that way p.p.s. I asked my dentist if he had heard of the paleo diet and he goes, "Isn't that the one where you go by your blood type?" Ha ha.

I just clicked on the "Fran" button and watched a tooth do Fran. Excellent! I'll have to show my son.
