Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5

Warmup: 95#, 105#, 115#, 135#
Final weight for sets: 135#.

I can go heavier I'm sure. I did heavier with my brother around My hands were killing me though.

Run 100 meters
20 Push-ups
Run 100 meters
50 Sit-ups
Run 100 meters
50 Squats
Run 100 meters
30 Back extensions

Round #1: 9min
Round #2: 8min
Round #3: 9min

As many reps/rounds as possible in 20min of:
  • 15 Power clean, 65lbs
  • 10 Toes to bar
  • 15 Wall ball shots, 16lbs

Result: 3 rounds + 5 Power Clean


The power cleans are what took me the most time. Need to practice

Workout - Wed 27APR2011


5 rounds for time:
  • 15 box jumps
  • 15 push press, 60lbs

Did 4 rounds in about 12min, then thought it would be a good idea to NOT focus, and smash my tibia into the box' metal frame during one of the jumps on the box.... :S Felt like I was breaking my leg, cut my skin open, blood blood blood drama drama drama....
I put ice on it immediately for 30min, and when I stood up to walk to the locker room, the pressure on the leg caused blood to squirt horizontally out of the wound.... naaasty. And VERY painful !

I've been limping since... (today is Monday i.e. 5 days later). But I'm still putting my ice on it during the day, and it's much better. At least, I didn't have to go to the hospital to get stitches

  • 21 Overhead squat, 45#
  • 21 Burpees
  • 15 Overhead squat, 45#
  • 15 Burpees
  • 9 Overhead squat, 45#
  • 9 Burpees

Result: 11min

I saw in the comments on this workout on the main site that I wasn't the only one confused as to whether this was supposed to be what I actually did, or rather [what I did] x 3

Workout - Sun 08MAY2011


So...the intent was to do a workout, but I was extremely tired, so when the bf suggested playing basketball, I said "AIIIGHT"
So I ended up doing:
Crossfit warmup + 2 rounds of:
  • 15 thrusters, 45#
  • 15 burpees

then played basketball. Almost fell asleep on the court though after 45min... :S
Something made me really tired...
