First CF workout in an age. Lots has been happening - new job, new man (engaged even!), new house, but i'm sick of my lack of consistency with exercise and food. Oh, being the editor of a food magazine doesn't help, but I could be doing better. No promises, trying not to beat myself up too hard.

This morning
3 rounds
800m SS
1 min rest
400m ME
1 min rest

Hmm, supposed to be negative splits, the only negative about them was how I felt! Great to get a good CF workout in. Just need to keep going. Have spent the day working (um, surfing the net getting inspiration). Good motivation is that I'm now doing ocean ski paddling - upper body and back strength is important. Maybe compete in Molokai next year? Who knows? I really just want to look good naked for my man - and I don't feel like I do right now. He trains hard and I need to too. Looking forward to getting back into it. I'm worth it.

Pain! Sprints after an extended layoff are not good. Staggered back in this morning for another session.

Good warmup.

300m row
20 wallball (6kg)
10 pullups (jumping)

Hard. Fun. Glad I did it.

Great Saturday morning session.

25 HSPUs (subbed columbian presses or something. No weight. Depressing but realistic)
50 TTB (knees to chest)
800m run
75 push press (broomstick)
150 DUs (very broken)

On the plus side I finished it.
On the minus side I am very out of condition. Really, what did I expect. Oh well. Each day is a new start etc, etc, etc.

Monday squats.

5x5 70% of max

Warm up:
20kg
30kg
35kg

Working sets @ 40kg

Good form, knees not caving in.

Am still taking things pretty easy. Which is fine by me. Left shoulder f'ed.
