Pain after rolling?

So I was leaning against the wall, digging my tp therapy ball into my pec the day before yesterday and since then one part is super tender. There doesn't seem to be any bruising. I assume I was too aggressive but what's the pain? Just bruising deep down I cant see or something? It's no big deal, just curious! Thanks

Re: Pain after rolling?

Stretching and soft tissue work is like exercise

You deform the muscle or stretch it then it can create eccentric damage just like exercise can

Thus, if you do too much it will be sore like the soreness you can get after workouts
