Ran across this website browsing the multilevelmoves.com forum:

This is very useful; photo sequences of important gymnastic positions and moves. It's only women's/girl's gymnastics, but then I'd be happy to be able to pull off some of these stunts:

Here is an article on the kip:

And here is a kip photo sequence:

Hmm; I had hoped one of the other women would administer the appropriate smack-down: "ONLY" women's gymnastics? That's a lot of nerve from someone who can't do what they can do...

LOL. I read that and immediately was glad that I wasn't the person that wrote it.

... but I don't think that Ross meant it that way. You have to love the ambiguity of the English language.

Oh, fantastic sequences by the way. Very helpful.

LOL! I REALLY didn't mean it that way. I just hit upon the link and was disappointed that it didn't have men's skills. HOW cool would photo sequences like that of ring and p-bar skills be?

I'm working on kips and levers. Soon that little 5-year old girl will have nothing on me... except probably a planche.

Fully besmacked,

Ross Hunt

That would be way cool, for sure. Even cooler would be if women got to learn the ring and p-bar, instead of the balance beam.
Look on the bright side, Ross - at least you have a shot at catching up to that 5-year old! I'm 35 years too late...
