Re: Approaching Triple Body Weight

Wow... that is just incredible. Hats off and much respect! Seriously, I didn't really know a woman could DL 300lbs. (I don't watch powerlifting or anything). And I am always in awe that you have such a feminine form.... Really amazing, Jodi. You have every right to be proud!

How long have you been deadlifting, Jodi? I'm curious what weight you started at.

And another question: Do you and Anthony have kids? I'm thinking that hybrids of you two raised on crossfit could be the most formidable humans ever created! haha
Hey David,

I have been deadlifting for about 3 years. I started with 45 pounds.

haha! No kids for Anthony and I as of yet...we'll see what the future holds. haha!

Re: Approaching Triple Body Weight

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'll keep you posted on my progress!! I have plans to beat the Canadian Deadlift record in my weight class (105 pounds) in November. The current record of 308 pounds has been in place since 1989. My goal is triple bodyweight, 315 pounds.

Re: Approaching Triple Body Weight

Seriously .... awesome.

What is your programming for DL's like? I've been stuck at 405 for 2-3 mo. & 415 feels soooo much more than a 10lb difference. Prolly should look into SS, huh?

That was amazing. Looks like you have 315 in you, no problem.
