Just Starting

I am a completely new to crossfit and I am trying to see if this is right for me. My main concern is that this high intensity type of workout is going to kill my weightlifting goals. I use a 5 x 5 scheme with my workouts and I am close to hitting a 405 bench and a 500 squat but the guys and gals that use this program look very slim (for a good reason) The problem I have is my GPP sucks and I'm at 22.9% BF. How do I mix the two programs together without killing my strength goals?

Re: Just Starting

Some use ME Black Box or a similar hybrid program. But I should warn you that I'd be surprised if your lifts didn't decrease some with CrossFit. You can't be tops at everything.
