My max is 65. Done palms away, shoes off, kipping. The effort was filmed and poor quality pullups would not count. I am a climber and was able to "rest" by hanging one handed to shake out the pump. I spent over 7 minutes on the bar doing them.
I think I can do more, but I doubt it really means more than a psychological coup.
I am more interested in range of motion now. I like "fat" pullups ala Gymjones, and weighted pullups in smaller sets.
For me large volume gets tedious and overuse injuries flare up. I don't like to play the age card, but at 54 overuse is occasionally an issue.

We have Eugene to thank/curse for the nudge into the pullup challenges.
