Good to hear Bryan.

I'm trying to get as much info as possible before I set up an appointment. I'm a bit concerned about the comfort of the hard contacts at night though. I'm very sensitive to soft contacts in my eyes so I can't imagine those things!

Overall it sounds like a great option for me though. Thanks for all the info.

David,

You'll just have to give them a try. Ask your OD what the refund policy is if you can't tolerate the lenses.

When they first fit you, they will likely deaden your eyes so that the fitting is more comfortable.

You may be surprised too, as these lenses "breathe" and allow sufficient oxygen to you eyes.

As I said, it was a bit uncomfortable at first, but now I hardly notice them. In the early weeks I found my eyes much happier when closed, so I always put the lenses in immediately before retiring. Once I closed my eyes to sleep, they were fine. You will keep a bottle of tears or contact solution on your bedside tabel for awhile.

My corrected vision is as sharp ( I think it's sharper) than with my glasses.
