Agreed about the name. Not the kind of thing I can see bringing my family to. I think the whole idea sounds like fun, but I also think that from a 'marketing' point of view you'd get more participants (competitors, spectators, and sponsors) with an non-offensive name. Just my $.02

Hey all.

Like Sarah and Richard already said, the name ain't a problem over here. It will not have an impact on either spectators or marketing.

Simply, we don't give a **** about people using the word ****

I'm 100% sure it was not chosen as to offend anyone.

Let us direct our focus toward the competition itself instead. I think it's going to be great fun even though my @$$ is in for a serious sp@nking. Tough competition, can't wait!

Thanks for the comments about the name. It's Europe, and we're not so strict about using -words.

190 CrossFitters from all over Europe have already signed up and CROSS GYM and CASALL are sponsoring us, so we're more than happy about the support.

Looking forward to a great competition.

Sounds like a blast, and the name doesn't bother me I understand the meanong from it, and it is in your face. No real bother to it. My .02

signed up for the 25th sep challenge !!!!
it has a master category starting at 38+...so ill take the results as a good indication of my progress towards trying for a spot a the 2011 crossfit games in the masters...

wod 3 of the fit as fu-k competition will be a heavy event.
Each competitor will do a maximum of 9 lifts – duration will be 10 mins.

how would you guys approach this ?
assuming that a scoring possibility would be to total each max rep ..

would you go first at the lifts you are better at ?

would you follow a sequence taht would involve gradually more body parts?
lets say start with a squat then go at the overhead squat......

is there already a calssical sequence people have followed in the past ?

i am ignorant on all this and looking for some interesting ideas and methods to approach such a wod which aside strength involves some goood planning

thanks for advice ! and i hope all competitors of the fit as fu-k might benefit from this
