DHS Training Bar

Hi folks. Got my DHS Training Bar last night. $469 with $40 quoted shipping.
Sent from Seattle to Bay Area Cali. Didn't like the $40 shipping since Seattle is so close. The pics and quick delivery explain why. Came to my home in 2 days via UPS.
I'll follow up on this thread with a review once I get some good work in with it.
It is a beautiful bar and the sleeves spin forever.
Just wanted to share a few pics.
I'm new to the forum, so please post suggestions on how I can improve on posting images. I really would like the size dimensions for posting the largest allowable pic.
Thank you!

Re: DHS Training Bar

$40 is ridiculously cheap to ship something like that. If you think they spin a lot now, wait until you put some weight on the bar. You probably wouldn't want to deadlift or bench with it, that's how much it spins.

Re: DHS Training Bar

Sorry, that was bad wording in my part. I was sketchy about the $40. The quick delivery, great packaging, and mint bar explains the $40 shipping...which, Mike Hollister, you're right, is an awesome price to ship something like this.

Re: DHS Training Bar

I have this bar and I love it. I go back and forth between that bar and my Eleiko as to which one I like better. For a $500 shipped bar though... it really can't be beat. I definitely like it better than my Pendlay NB.

Re: DHS Training Bar

glad I saw this thread, not ready to purchase a new bar yet, but probably in the next 9-12 months.

Was thinking Pendlay Bearing Bar or something, since I can't justify shelling out a ton of money on a bar since I train at my coachs place the majority of the time.

I will keep DHS in mind.

Re: DHS Training Bar

Anyone order the DHS training bar straight from DHS-USA instead?

Price is only $379. Not sure about shipping.

Re: DHS Training Bar

Awww man! Those are awesome prices. I just emailed them for a shipping quote. Shouldn't be much different from Dynamic-eleiko because both companies are right around the corner from each other.
Both websites also look identical.
Definitely kicking myself, because I have a feeling I'll get a good shipping quote. I'll post it once I get a response.
Thanks for the heads up Tom Nguyen.
What a great deal.

Re: DHS Training Bar

Don't kick yourself just yet I remember Dynamic-Eleiko used to have similar prices for those items. They all went up a bit in the last year. May be the DHS-USA site just forgot to update those.

Re: DHS Training Bar

Hi Bryan Weingart. Through email, Todd Lyons from Dynamic-eleiko informed me that physically both bars are identical. The only difference is that the International Training Bar is competition certified, thus the higher price point.
