I guess that was my point of starting this thread. I'm not going to stop drinking. I love beer and, really, all things alcohol. However, I know people that have similar drinking habits and workout far less, and not as intensely as I do, but they look better.
I didn't know if I was doing something wrong or if it's just that I'm not as lucky as some people who have to work far less hard to achieve the same results. |

Alright, Dan is eating a pound of strawberries for breakfast. Am I the only one who thinks that's not a very good idea? I'm all for fruit, especially for active people. But that much, alone, first thing in the morning?

He specifically said he was also eating macadamia nuts and jerky. The 'or' referred to eating either raspberries or strawberries with those two previous foods. A pound of strawberries is only about 150 calories anyway, and provides a pretty huge hit of vitamins and fiber.

The amount of calories and carbs in 16 oz of strawberries is minimal. And, your stomach doesn't care if you eat strawberries at 6:00 am or at 4:00 pm.
