Cft...?

I know im not new but i attempted the CFT for the first time. Scored 845- 175 Press-310 Back squat- 360 Deadlift.

Now I have never attempted the CFT before. Nor have I ever attempted squats like that! Dead lift wise that was my PR by 30lbs, which also happens to be just over double BW for me Now to my question...

Is that a good score? I read a little into that 1000lb CFT club and that just seems insane. Just was wondering what some others scores are and if I am behind the curve for the shape im in. Thanks guys!!

Re: Cft...?

Miguel-
Sounds like great work to me! Especially for your first CFT!

If you are in the 165-170 range (based on your comments about 360 DL exceeding double your bodyweight) then you have nearly hit 5x bodyweight on the CFT which I think is a pretty outstanding achievement.

Re: Cft...?

175 most days... after a big meal or so it creeps to 180 haha

Thanks for the words! I felt afterwards that I couldve went heavier in the DL but just wasnt sure because it was my 3rd attempt and I already beat my PR by 15lbs the previous attempt. Those guys that are over 1000 must be insane... or just really big guys!!

Re: Cft...?

I think most are big guys.

I haven't perused that thread in a while, but I did ask a couple weeks ago whether anyone on this board who is under 170# has a CFT that exceeds 1000#. I haven't seen any affirmative responses to that. I'll check again now, because I'm curious.

There is a trainer at our affiliate who has a CFT near 1,100 and believe it or not, and he is about 170... FREAK of nature! But he doesn't post here, as far as I know.

Re: Cft...?

AnthonyB is about 1100 at 180 if I recall correctly.

I'd say 5x is pretty good. My first CFT was almost 4x, though I'm only mediocre-ishly strong.

Re: Cft...?

I'm ~152 most days, give or take 2lbs and have a 905lb total (320, 170, 415). Give me by January and I'll break the 1K barrier. I wouldn't be surprised if Brett Marshall has over 1000lbs at a BW near mine; we're the same height too.
