I've recently got a 10kg medicine ball (YAY!). And i was wondering if i should put like a wax or something on it to prevent the leather cracking and wearing as much as possible? What would people recomend using? The MB is a little soft (leather softness), i don't want to stiffen it up, or make it too slippery (esecially when using it and it gets a bit wet). Any advice would be awesome. Thanks!

Nikki-

While we do not manufacture in leather, we do recommend that products like vinyl and leather cleaners for cars (ie Armour All) could work nicely.

Avoid polish or you'll have someone very annoyed with you when they go home covered in black or brown pigment.

I'd guess your best bet would be something like dubbin. Its a neutral soft polish for boots you can get in most supermarkets or shoe repair kiosks. Rub it in with a cloth and then buff all of it off.

Armour All hey.. I dunno if that would work so good, i get the real hard-to-get-off stuff with armour all! hehe. Boot Polish i might try, hopefully it doesnt stink too much after.. How often would you recomend putting the stuff on the ball, to prevent it cracking over time? once a month?

Thanks!

Dubbin once a month should do, as i said don't use anything with colour in it or you'll get annoyed but colourful people.

I used to use Saddle Soap and Mink Oil on my leather boots.

Armour All is slippery stuff.

I would clean it every 6 months with a mild soap solution and call it good.
