The Chicken Salad!

I saw this video on you tube of The prep days with the Chans.

They made, what looked to be a awesome chicken salad following the zone diet. But i was confused on the "sauce" they used.

From the link, it says its made with:

squeeze limes and
mix in eggs, mustard
and curry powder

And it gave the amounts of each. but im just confused on the eggs part. are they just raw eggs?

Here is the link to the video!

I also found a link in the description, that lead me to the recipe. it can be found here.

Raw eggs sound gross to me as well. I wonder if she uses just cooked eggs yokes? That would kinda make sense. But the recipe is very vague, it only says "two eggs".

Re: The Chicken Salad!

Lime juice, eggs, mustard and curry powder could very easily be turned into a mayonnaise.

Re: The Chicken Salad!

Thanks Mike, I think Chris is right its like a mayo.... I would be inclined to blend it well.

I shall cook it tomorrow and let you know how I go.

Care to share?

I need a chicken salad recipe. This one just makes no sense. And if it is raw eggs, I'll pass.

Re: The Chicken Salad!

If raw eggs scare you, you can use an oil instead...but then you'll have to go back to school and get a masters degree in mathematics to refigure out # of blocks for your macros. Mrs. Chan can sure talk blocks huh.
