2. CrossFit is not *not* only about the WODs. Do some research on typical CF training routines, pay attention to time spent. If you have a 5 minute Fran, and the WOD is Fran, your total time spent training should not be 5 minutes. Most of us spend a lot more time doing things like warming up, skills training, independent strength training, and mobility work than the time spent doing the actual WOD.
Very good points, I spend the whole 1 hour class basically working when I do CF, even if its a short wod. Largely in part because we prepend most wods with dedicated strength work.
From a time standpoint most of the p90X stuff I think is 45-60 minutes then another 20 for the dedicated ab work but if you add drive time to an affiliate then CF likely will take just as much if not more time.
