Jenn's log

Well, I have not logged onto the website for a while and am hoping that this will help me continue my motivation. I am four days from completing the academy for the sheriff department. I am currently 30 years old, 15% body fat, 174 pounds, 5'10"....

I have always worked out growing up and I have a whole new appreciation for a healthy lifestyle. During the academy our PT sessions were very similar to crossfit and I have never had results like this before. Now if I could talk my husband into doing this.....

WOD
3 miles in 30 minutes

Re: Jenn's log

I am so discouraged, I have been sick since New Years and I have not been able to breathe. I am an asthmatic and breathing is a bit more difficult when I am sick. I am off to the Dr. today and I hope to be back working out on Wednesday.

Here is to getting better,
Jenn

Re: Jenn's log

1/19/08
30 minutes 2.7 mile run

1/23/08
20 minutes 5.5 rounds of:
100 jump ropes
10 push ups
10 burpees
15 sit-ups

1/25/08
30 minutes 3 mile run

1/30/08
Squats & v-ups
lat pull downs, bent rows & back entensions
dumb bell press, push ups & planks

I am feeling much better, but I can tell that my bronchitis made me take a couple steps backwards. I have been eating well and continue to get back in the gymn.

My hat's off to you, Jenn - you did amazing with that lung thing. BTW, I used to have severe chronic bronchitis. The thing that helped most was putting a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and a couple of tablespoons of (raw if possible) honey in a glass of hot water, then stir and sip until gone. You get used to the taste but it does amazing things for opening up those lungs. Way to go on the WOD!
