progenex information

Hi all
I'v noticed progenex started sponsering some of the official events of crossfit.
As i understood in the past no supplements products (exept maybe Dr.sear's fish oil) were alwod to sponser any evevnt of crossfit.
Does that mean this product is now part of crossfit philosophy for health and pick performence? Does anyone knows any scientific information about this product? I tried to look for information on pubmed and other evidened based sites and found nothing
Thanks in advance

Beat me to it. That's a great video. I liked the bit about Jack Daniels and Skoal Tobacco..

Re: progenex information

I can't talk about the science, but we just had a discussion on Facebook about this where people believe you can put together much cheaper and equally effective alternatives.

I don't know. Haven't tried any of them yet but will go for the cheaper way when I do.

He directly answers the above question, and that is why I pointed you there.

Re. scientific information - I cannot point you to an answer for that.

This wouldn't be without precedent. The rumours go that the first batches of Met RX has a "special" unlisted ingredient.

As to the product, here's a scientific explanation.

Take a cheap, simple, whey protein powder.
Add a generous splash of handwavium and a dash of the finest marketing and voila, a very expensive whey protein powder.

Most anabolcis can't be taken orally and the ones that can are usually harsher.
