Coconut Bliss Ice Cream

Have I missed a thread on this stuff? For the paleo people who don't mind agave syrup, this is just off-the-hook good.

Ingredient list in the cappucino flavor that I'm eating now: Organic Coconut Milk, Organic Agave Syrup, Organic Coffee, Organic Vanilla Extract. They come clean about a teeny bit of Guar gum in the coconut milk, in big print with an explanation of what it is and why they do it.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to switch over to this from ice cream permanently, and I love my ice cream...

Re: Coconut Bliss Ice Cream

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING STUFF IN THE WORLD

...also very dangerous

EDIT:

in all seriousness, this is a good substitute, but be careful about quantity here (i should be taking my own advice) agave nectar is almost pure fructose, which isn't great. try the "so delicious" stuff too. it's a little cheaper and i think has regular sugar in it.

Re: Coconut Bliss Ice Cream

I've only ever had the So Delicious coconut milk stuff, and it is .. well, so delicious! haha

my favorite I think is the mocha almond fudge. It's got a bunch of stuff in it, and the agave bothers me a little (would prefer regular sugar) but then I'm under no illusions this is "good for me" rather I just love the taste! It does have only 14g sugar per serving, and 5g fiber which is more favorable than regular ice cream/frozen yogurt I think. Expensive though.

INGREDIENTS: ORGANIC COCONUT MILK, ORGANIC AGAVE SYRUP, FUDGE SAUCE (BEET SUGAR, WATER, COCOA PROCESSED WITH ALKALI, TAPIOCA STARCH, NATURAL FLAVORS, CHOCOLATE LIQUOR), ALMONDS (ALMONDS, SAFFLOWER OIL, SALT), CHICORY ROOT EXTRACT, COFFEE, CAROB BEAN GUM, GUAR GUM, NATURAL COFFEE FLAVOR, SALT.

agreed. we can't have it in the house any more because the pint that's supposed to last us a month lasts us 2 days at the most
