Newbie Chiropractor-CF rocks

Crossfit for 8 weeks with Paleo diet-haven't used Zone but controlling insulin/cortisol etc. is huge. I thought I was fit and powerful-not so much. I dropped from 193# to 176# but retained most muscle. The WOD's are horrific and I can't wait for the next training day after scraping myself up from the last one.
The core strengthening is so far superior to anything I have tried or seen. Totally addicted now-I watch excercise videos and ready for garage gym because the trainers at my gym think I am a freak and tell me me not to hurt myself. Been tempted to use kipping pullups to knock trainers out.
Being a Chiro I am used to stigma -CF is sound and a better to to live. I am 47 y\o with 4 kids and getting in best condition of my life-thanks.
Pistols - miserable but getting there.

Welcome!

Just wanted to give you props! I'm 35, been here for 18 months and still cannot do a pistol! LOL

Thanks-my Helen was pathetic and I scared some kids at the playground with the kettlebells ( they have a good bar for kipping). Pistols make me fall down .

That's great, keep it up! And, I have to agree, when I saw those 55lbs pistols, and was wondering if it was a typo!
