Manmaker + Run

I did 5 rounds of 5 manmakers + 400m Run today. I did the manmakers with 25lb DBs. I saw this on an affiliate site the other day but I can't remember which one. It was 22 minutes of suck. I'm definitely going to do it again.

I like it - simple and brutal. I did man-makers today today too. It's a workout called "Man Up" - I can't remember where I saw it, but I liked it and wrote it down. I used a 24K for swings and 20# DBs.

21 ring dips
6 KB swings
9 renegade man-makers

15 ring dips
12 KB swing
6 renegade man-makers

9 ring dips
18 KB swings
3 renegade man-makers

Re: Manmaker + Run

A couple of variations we have done:

For time, 4x through:
5 manmakers
400m run

So it's not done straight through, rather in 4 intervals that come out to 2:10 to 2:30

On a 1/12 mile indoor track, do 3 manmakers, 10 steps of walking lunges with the DBs. Set the DBs to the side and run around the track and back to your DBs; repeat, (moving the DBs along the distance of your 10 steps of lunges with each "round") until the DBs have made one lap of the track. This one is murder.

One of our folks who is more of a distance runner loves to do this one:

1 mile
5 manmakers
5 x through for time

Not for me, though

That's right, but without the lunges, and jumping into the squat position from the press-up position
