Yeah, thanks for asking. It went really well. We are very similar. Sorry this is so short, I'll elaborate more later. It really was one of the best weekends I've ever had.

Front Lever Practice
Handstand Practice
Snatch 10 x 1 x 85lbs
Clean 5 x 1 x 135lbs
OHS 5 x 2 x 95lbs

Metcon
Heavy Bag (100lbs) Shoulder and Carry, There (left side) and Back (right side)
10 Pull-Ups
4 Rounds
5:38

The front lever and handstand practice was killer on my core, front lever especially. Sure as **** didn't help my snatch. Kept snatches very light. Cleans were full squat from the floor, felt awesome. I felt like I could have gone about 30-40lbs heavier. OHS was pretty weak. I expect it to improve rapidly, as I haven't worked them in a looong time.

The metcon was an *** kicker. Getting the bag up was a killer. Pull-ups were immediately broken which didn't bother me a ton as intensity was still way up. My core feels super tight right now (it has been about 1 1/2 hours.)

I'll measure in the near future, it's somewhere between too far and not long enough. It's just right for most of my carries and such as they tend to be on the heavy/awkward side of things.

Nice Snatches and Cleans, Chuck. Not too bad on OHS either. I personally hate'em but that's bc I can't dump at my globo. Grrrrr!

Re: Chuck's Log: Forging Elite Vomiting

I've been shying away from snatches, because I don't trust my form to do them safely, props for getting in there and hitting them! I also have trouble with OHS, but I've started working them into my warmups to try to build my shoulder flexibility... Maybe I should start working some empty bar snatches too?

Operation Yard Gym is going strong. The grass doesn't seem to mind me dumping iron. I'll try and get some pics of my setup soon.
