For those who are unaware, the February issue of Men's Journal is now available. It contains a short piece on CrossFit entitled 'Best Shape of Your Life in 20 Minutes' and contains 10 slightly scaled versions of CF workouts including moves such as db swings, air squats, deadlifts, ring push-ups, thrusters, ball slams, wall ball, burpees and HSPUs. Overall some good coverage for a change (thruster form could've been portrayed a little better, IMO, but no one's perfect).

Can someone scan and post it for us? I haven't seen it for sale in Australia (I'd welcome a correction if I'm wrong about that).

Presumably, it will be up on their website (www.mensjournal.com) eventually. Right now they're still only offering the January issue.

I have my fingers crossed for the article they are writing in the Chicago newpaper. The interview I did went great but we will see what the result is when it is in print.

In addition to the thruster form, what about the ball slam form? Dude shouldn't be looking down like that (straight arms at the top of the slam would be nice, too).

But overall, yes, it's a very flattering article for CrossFit (not that it really matters in my humble opinion--CrossFit will not be made or broken by a collection of articles in the popular press, whether said articles are flattering, vituperative, accurate, or inaccurate).

I knew this was coming, you could see the signs as they were starting to talk about the benifits of deadlifts and a few other functional movements in previous editions.

Now that CrossFit is in a magazine, does this mean that the men magazines are not crap anymore?
