Re: Clydesdales in the Open

Gentleman great job on a tough WOD! Those times are great! I was a 20:49 guy which is just a tad bit slower than expected but oh! I had fun competing this year again! I think this was my favorite Open programming wise! Tough with some twists! This Opened confirmed what I already knew going in..... @ 45 years old I am strong enough to compete but I need more cardio!Second observation is related to the first...I probably drink too many beers and have too much fun to be an elite crossfitter! and I am OK with that!!! Good luck to all who make it to the next level!! See you at regionals! I will be cheering for ya!

Re: Clydesdales in the Open

posted up 14:35 this morning and i was pretty close to death. This has been a rough year. Rotator cuff injury, switching boxes, recovering and regaining strength in overhead, work going from 45 to about 70 hours a week, having 2 twins being born.

I went from training 6 days a week to 3-4. My old 280lb overweight self did not return, i managed to build muscle and strength and just a little flop. It was a good year considering it all.

Time to stop whining and carry on. ONWARD!

Re: Clydesdales in the Open

Nice Job Big guys in the Open. Keep up the training...recover now...and Refocus. I need a lot of work on all my gymnastics, and to get my endurance up, and anything S2OH

If you look at the top times on 14.5...the small guys ran away with it.
