Re: Max Fit USA

I tried it in the past and found the volume to high. But it is a solid program nonetheless.

Re: Max Fit USA

They have had a games prep wod for a number of years now. I haven't looked at it for quite a while but I am sure it is still a pretty decent program. Like Steve said, it will be high volume, but any games prep programming will be higher volume than what most normal crossfitter's can handle. These programs are meant for people who devote enough time to recovery to be able to keep up with that higher volume.

Have they had anyone that does their program do well at the Games?

Re: Max Fit USA

It doesn't help that the website is nearly unintelligible. Do they actually expect people to follow such a mess?

Clearly this is a reasonable question but I think a bit unfair at this point of the Games evolution.

Does Outlaw have superior Games programming because of the success of its followers ?

Or do they just have a better than average pool of athletes ?
I have to believe it's both.

MaxFit USA ? Not enough data to know yet.

I have met this woman several times, I believe she follows the PL program
http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/node/16466

I spoke with Chad Vaughn at the Games this year, I asked him who he thought I should consult about Oly lifting that's in my neck o' the woods, he recommended Max Mormont.

I challenged someone else's programming that has a lengthy thread on this board, I said if it's as good as "advertised" then we should see an athlete following it on the podium in the next few years. Now I think I overstated that.

At some unknown point years from now we will know (or at least have a good idea) of whose programming gets results.

Re: Max Fit USA

There is no one size fits all when it comes to programming for the Crossfit games. Every athlete will have different weaknesses that need to be addressed. And every athlete will progress differently in different areas.
