300# Back Squat, 17 years old

2nd PR in 2 weeks, this time at 300#. Boom. Bodyweight still 145#.

Something was weird here, if anyone can help me figure it out I would really appreciate it. I think I came forward on the feet and shifted back as I sat down maybe?

Anyways, more so just pumped about the PR. Enjoy!

i dont think there is much wrong with the lift, it is just pretty heavy, when it gets heavy things change.

Looks damn solid to me. The only fixes I'd recommend would be taking a split second to set up after unracking it and before starting your descent (you rushed that a bit) and focusing on keeping your chest up as you come out of the hole.

I wish I'd had my act together this well when I was 17. Nice work.

Since it appears you are doing a Rippetoe style squat I will say you lost your hip drive about half way up coming out of the whole, right where you hit your sticking point. Your back angle changes and you open your hips early, Focus on finishing driving your butt up at the same rate as those shoulders
