Elevated hip leading to back pain

Hey all. So I was wondering if anyone has experience with treating an elevated hip. I am seeing a chiro and my right hip sits higher than my left, not sure what from but has been like that for a very long time leading to a gross imbalance in musculature along my erectors. My back pain is decreasing slowly but surely via chiro plus light weights plus rolling and stretching.

I'm really wondering if anyone else has worked through an elevated hip and what are some of the best strategies to get it fixed. Thanks.

Re: Elevated hip leading to back pain

Talk to the chiropractor about what might have led to this issue. You may have muscles imbalances that need to be corrected. Let the chiropractor give you advice on how to find a permanent remedy. The chiropractor can temporarily fix you, and hopefully figure out the root cause for you and provide a plan to fix the root cause, but you will then have to follow through with the strength and maintenance plan so it doesn't keep coming out of place. Be aware a remedy may take a lot of work if this has been a long term problem so that it won't be cured overnight.
