Getting Started

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am looking at getting started with crossfit. I have read almost everything (I think) on this site. Is the WOD the exercises with set/rep that are listed in the middle of the first page? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and GOD bless.

Ok,so I am not a very smart person it appears. Where on this site do you find the workouts for this program? Do I need to purchase the journals?

Re: Getting Started

Yes, down the middle of the main page you will see the WOD for that day. For example, today (2/12) you will see the WOD is:

"Nate"

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:

2 Muscle-ups
4 Handstand Push-ups
8 2-Pood Kettlebell swings

Also, one of the great features of the CF website is the "Exercises & Demos" page where you will find many videos showing how to actually perform the exercises if you are unsure of your technique.

Good Luck!

Re: Getting Started

... and if "Nate" (or another day's workout) looks too exhausting for your current fitness level, click on the "start here" tab in the navigation menu ... top Left corner of the main page. You'll see a link to BrandX's scaled workouts.

Welcome aboard!
