What is recommended? I've been eating extra-lean but I feel as if perahps simply lean would be just as good and provide some fat. suggestions

Frank,
Turkey has a pretty good lipid profile and the lean (93/7) is still pretty lean and much more economical than the ground breast. As far as the beef, if your eating grass-fed, the lean is probably better for you than the extra-lean if its grain-fed. If your eating grain-fed, I'd stick with the extra lean. Just my $.02. |
