I haven't taken a 50% week yet and my body is telling me that its about that time. Clearly I dont want to just nothing for a week. Should I still stick to the WOD's but at half intensity or should I spend the week just doing light weight and practicing forms? If anyone has any input on what I should do over the course of the next week let me know.

Thanks,
Max

you can go half volume, half intensity, or half frequency. i don't imagine it will make a difference which one you choose because its just a week.

50% any way it makes sense. ie. cut a 5k into a 2.5k run. pull-ups cut the numbers, weighted exercises cut either the reps or weight. So yesterday for Helen:

200m run
1 pood kb 21 reps (or 1.5 pood kb 11 reps)
pull=ups 6

Even though I am either reducing the amount of weight or reps, do I still want to go full speed through whatever that workout?

Yeah, I've got to tell you 50% ain't easy. You actually push harder. Don't worry, you will feel rested after a week of 50%.
