Re: Who has your gym's Highest Vertical Jump

Actually, peak power isn't necessarily the impressive part of a high vertical, it is how quickly they can produce a high degree of force.

Ha ya I figured one of you two would.

My vertical has always been pretty bad comparatively. Only reason my box jump is alright is cause lots of squat cleaning has taught me how to reverse my hips really fast and I have a good deep squat.

Always wondered, do you think foot size has anything to do with your vertical? The levers an all? Or can dudes with small feet learn to jump? Ya see I'm what they call a white boy. Can't jump.

Re: Who has your gym's Highest Vertical Jump

My box jumping ability doesn't stink, but my vertical does, although I've never measured it.

Re: Who has your gym's Highest Vertical Jump

I found this video on youtube some 3 years ago. I've always found it to be VERY impressive, although low-quality.

Re: Who has your gym's Highest Vertical Jump

So today I did a 50 inch jump on to a box from a stand still. I was pretty stoked on that. Didn't try running up to it, maybe next time.
