Do you think 3 months of daily Crossfit is enough preparation to get the most out of the seminar in May? Started Crossfit mid-february with decent aerobic fitness but haven't done much strength training since last summer.

Don't be a stranger to Tabata Squats.

Nothing will adequately prepare you. Your weaknesses will be found and you will be punished for them. So prepare as best you can, be happy with your progress, and accept the idea that you (and everyone else) will receive a beating.

Ken,
I don't remember seeing any weaknesses at the seminar, excellant job.
Lincoln,
Are you available to give the next pep talk to my team.
Sarah,
Following the WOD is great prep for the cert seminar. I had about the same amount of time in when I went to my first seminar. It was eye opening.

I'm heading there as well, and I am sure I will find plenty of my weak spots. That is one of the main reasons I started Crossfit.
I've trained for several decades in different ways, but nothing prepared me for what CrossFit through at me. That is great! That means my efforts with CF are paying off for me.
Now, at 55, I am still learning every day and getting in better shape after each punishing session. I love it!

Well it's been a week since the last seminar and I feel I'm slightly recovered. Just keep doing the WODs and go, it is a unbelievable experience.

Praying that all goes well for me, I will sign up for the May seminar. Ken, are you able to sit without much of a wince? Hope you can do a mod-Tabata soon.

LOL. Sorry bro, just had to ask.

Jeff, I do bar mitzvahs and wedding parties too.

Big Phat Helen put a serious hurting on me in my first seminar. Trying to keep up with Annie during bottom-to-bottom Tabata squats finished me off. (I think I kept up for, like, 2 rounds. Scored a big phat zero on round 6 - couldn't get back up.)

It took a few days, but I'm more or less functional now. Or would have been, minus this morning's workout.

The "Annie are you ok" video today brought back some pleasant memories (and burning quads), though.
