Heel Spur

I have a heel spur on my right heel. Its due largely from a motocross accident that jacked up my fascia. So over a period of about 4 years ive developed a bone spur. And its absolutely killing me. Doc says no squatting with weight, box jumps, jump rope or running. Hmmm well. This aint fun. My question is how long recovery for heel spur removal? Any info will help please.
