Pretty big improvement

I hate to post PR's. I have little ones all of the time.

3 lately are work mentioning.

Back Squats: 335lbs this is up 10lbs. I have not squatted in 8 or 9 years. It seems like I can just add more weight and it goes up.

Front Squats: 235lbs at least 30lbs up. 235 was conservative as it was not a max but my top workout weight from the last Front Squat day.

And the biggest is Pull-ups: Last Death by Pull-ups on Dec 1 I managed 1-7, 28 total. It was before mission and was rushed but the metcon had me pretty tired. The last Death by Pull-ups I managed 1-14, 105 total. Almost 300%! Plus, on Lynne in Dec I managed 14 pull-ups on my 1st set. Today I did 25 and my other 4 sets were 20s. My kips are still a little rough. I have the motion but repeat kips are still not there. I can say it is coming nicely.

Just drinking the cool aid...

Thanks for reading,

Marc

Re: Pretty big improvement

I managed my first muscle-up today. I ended up doing a few (5 or 6).

Thanks to Steven Low regarding some kipping technique advice.

For me the technique and the low position (elbows above the shoulders) dipping strength was it.

Still drinking the coolaid...

Incredible improvements. They're all so fast now, haha.

Don't get discouraged when they slow down though.
