Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

Starting

Hello everybody!

I am Brazilian and I am having some difficulties with crossfit.
I've been giving it a read but have not found anything saying if the workouts are counted by time or only to repetitions and're done.

I'm new too!

The WODs are all different--some for time, some for reps, some til "Death" do you part!

Death by Squats! I just did that yesterday!

There are also tabatas where you go non-stop with the same movement for 20 seconds, take 10 seconds off, and then back on for a total of 4 minutes.
