Wordpress theme

Hey guys,

I was a longtime Typepad user and then had a wordpress site built for my Affiliate and feel that WP looks more professional. I'm now in the process of launching a Paleo-based medicine company and am setting up my own WP blog. I would like some advice on choosing a wordpress theme. I have my domain name and will be hosting with GoDaddy. Any recommendations of themes that have worked for you? Paid or free? Advice in general?

Thanks,

Damon

Re: Wordpress theme

While it is not really a theme check out http://www.pagelines.com/, they have a drag and drop frame work that is pretty nice. It allows you to make the site look like more then a wordpress site.

Re: Wordpress theme

Damon,

I have had good success with themes from WPZOOM http://www.wpzoom.com/themes/ (Safe for work), specifically the Yamidoo theme on my primary site. I think it was $79.

But there a ton of great free themes available - I would recommend that you look at some of the sites that showcase lots of themes as it is helpful to find a layout that matches up well with your vision for the new site.

All the best,

...Tim

Re: Wordpress theme

It doesn't have to be expensive to get a custom theme built for you. It all depends on what your needs are. CrossFit Newport Beach, http://www.crossfitnb.com, is one that I did for relatively cheap.
