Nogueira vs Mir

A better question might be, "Anyone NOT excited for UFC 92 tonight?" To which the reply is, "Then get your own ride to the morgue. I'm going to be watching the fights!"

Nog
Evans (I would prefer to see Griffin win, but I have a feeling he won't)
Silva

NOG, Forrest, and Silva will all win. I wish the Okami/Lister fight was on the televised card. Hopefully, there will be some quick finishes so that fight can be shown.

Re: Anyone excited for UFC 92 tonight ?

I was with you Jeff as were most of the 15 odd members of my fight school I watched it with interesting card. Forest and Rashad seemed to have games that were whole iterations ahead of everyone else on the card. Noguiera and Silva look old and beat down neither can maintain head movement anymore and their strikes are moving slow the looked like the were stuck in mollases compared to the young guys seems like there is real changing of the card right now in MMA fedor seems like that last of the previous crop of champions that still might have it. Rashad and Forest showed an amazing fight I thought forest one both of the first two rounds but the whole time I had this sick feeling(I am forest fan) that it was allways one punch away for Rashad and the same didn't seem to be true for Forest. I love forest I hope he comes back and knocks Shad out and reigns for years but I have to wonder if he isn't destined to be gatekeeper, he has some great tools, huge heart, great work capacity, very skilled and keeps getting better but he seems to lack that element of knock out power and exceptional athletiscm, and his chin is suspect. Shad seemed at big disadvantage with reach and maybe slightly less technical in his striking especially with kicks but man the guy can move and his power is huge. I hope to see him vs. machida soon.

Damn, Mir's boxing was on point! Pretty good event on the whole.
