Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:

2 Muscle-ups (subbed 4 pullups and 4 ring dips per muscle up)
4 Handstand Push-ups
8 2-Pood Kettlebell swings

7.5 rounds completed

10-3-08: Rest Day

10-4-08:
"Barbara"

Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Rest precisely three minutes between each round.

I didn't notice the part where you're supposed to keep track of the time of each round. I completed 4 rounds in 34:36 (including the 3-minute rest periods). Felt pretty faint all through the 4th round so I didn't push it for 5. I feel pretty good about this one. Barbara is a harsh mistress...

Side note: I've lost about 4 pounds and 1% body fat since I started my workout log on 9-15. Down to 183lbs and 22.0% BF (honestly I think I'm lower than this, but that's what my scale says). Loving the intermittent fasting program -- been doing it for a couple weeks.

Re: JP Hates Thrusters

1-5-08:
Five rounds for time of:
135 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
135 pound Hang power clean, 12 reps
135 pound Front Squat, 9 reps
135 pound Push Jerk, 6 reps

I went at this with too much weight; definitely should have scaled more. I started with 135lbs and did 15 deadlifts and then realized I couldn't hang-clean 135lb's. Scaled back to 115lbs but only managed 2 rounds at 17:13. My whole upper body is destroyed today (day after).

Re: JP Hates Thrusters

Uh, previous post should have read "10-5-08" instead of "1". Stupid forum and it's "no editing posts after 15 minutes" thing.

10-6-08:
1-1-1-1-1-1-1 weighted pullups. Did all 7 with a 10lb plate between my legs. Tried a 25lb dumbell and couldn't pull myself all the way up. 15lbs would probably be good. Need to get a vest or something.

Re: JP Hates Thrusters

10-7-08: Rest day

10-8-08:
"Ryan"

Subbed 4 pullups and 4 ring dips for each muscle up. So for me it was:

5 rounds of:
28 pullups
28 ring dips
21 burpees

43:59. It took every ounce of willpower I had to keep going after 4 rounds. Very proud of myself for making it through all 5.

10-9-08:
"Erin"

Five rounds for time of:
40 pound Dumbbells split clean, 15 reps
21 Pull-ups

Subbed 30lb DB's. Completed the rest as rx'd. I cleared the time off my phone accidentally so I'm not sure what it was

10-10-08: Busy day. Worked and then went up to Estes Park at 2 to stay for the weekend. Didn't get a chance to workout.

10-11-08: Rest day.

10-12-08:
Seven rounds for time of:
75 pound Shoulder Press, 21 reps
21 Back extensions

Subbed 65lbs for the presses. Otherwise as rx'd: 20:11. Not bad.
