Slow day yesterday, so I took the rest of the day off, though it was still too late to go in for a gymnastics workout. Decided to stop by CF Sac.
Haven't really had a chance to go in because of time or money, that's changed recently as well being able to afford a better overall diet which will help a lot too.

Still was tired from Cindy on Monday with Rog, so I figured mostly a skill day. Quads weren't as tight as monday but for some reason they have been ever since Monday. Weird.

So, did some C&J and Snatch work, starting light and getting to about 40kg on C&J, and 30 with snatches. Went down a bit to clean up some form.

Figured I wanted to test my max DL. Never had, though I used to do jump shrugs fairly heavy.

Got up to 198, which is 10kg over BW. I was shooting for 225, but decided to not push it.

Funny thing, is my grip started to fail at that, though back in the day it never used to till near 300pd shrugs.

Oly lifting, when I go heavy, I notice wracks my wrists. I was therabanding after each set and my left wrist is as sore as my right was on Monday ( both my wrists have been wracked for years due to a bad fall behind my back after spiking a volleyball - some gymnast ).

So, 198, and I think 225 woulda been fine. 255 to 1.5BW and 350 for 2 BW. I float between L2 and L3 when it comes to those CF standards, so gotta get that 1.5 BW soon.

Just my blah at my excitement at going heavy on deads, up and all the way down.

Kilos

The usual 20kg/45 pound bar + 20 or 15 kg bumpers on each side.

My hang power clean and hang clean were pretty crappy compared to my regular cleans. Same goes with my snatch. Then again never worked those way back when, though I do the drills now.

Rog was telling me he on the other hand is way stronger from just a hang.

Funkiness.

I see 225 doable right now in the immediate future as a max but 255...not sure.

leonid, i think he means that the actual denominations on the bumper plates are in kilos. the numbers he posted for his DL are in pounds. i doubt blair weighs 188 kilos (lol...a 400lb person doing an aerial) or has 430lb (198kg) deadlift and only a 40kg clean.

Isn't it fun measuring things in America.

I weigh 170. 80kg. At 61 inches or 1.55M

I DL 198, cleaned 133, and snatched 111. So it was a 90kg DL, 60kg clean, and 50kg snatch.
